The Rowallan Guide
Local knowledge and independent advice to help you buy or rent wellChoosing a home means choosing how you want to live. Schools, journeys, neighbours and the feel of a place can matter as much as the house itself. Yet it can be difficult to judge those things from a listing or a brief viewing.
The Rowallan Guide shares practical local knowledge and honest observations to help you explore your options, ask better questions and make a more confident decision. It is written with your interests as a buyer in mind.
I have worked in property since 1988, across estate agency and buying agency. That experience has taught me that a good purchase begins with understanding the place, the property and the people who will live there.
These guides share what I have learnt: how locations differ, what deserves closer investigation and which compromises may affect everyday life. I offer my own perspective where it helps, recognising that somewhere I would choose may not be right for you.
Whether you are relocating from London, moving locally or exploring somewhere new, I hope these pages help you make sense of the choices. New chapters and supporting articles will be added as the Guide grows.
I hope you find them useful.
