Other schools include the City of London Freemans, Reeds School, The American Community School (ACS Community School), the last two both in Cobham and many more. Being active on the sports sidelines with my youngest son, I noticed that even Eton College plays in the Surrey school’s rugby 7’s.

As for the surrounding countryside and stunning views, Surrey has some of the best. With the Surrey Hills offering some of the most stunning walks in the UK, with views stretching for miles, it is hard to believe that this is only 30 minutes to an hour from central London. I have friends living in Fulham who take longer to get into the city than my friends in Guildford!

Surrey hosts some of the world’s most prestigious annual events, with Epsom and Sandown racecourses and Goodwood just outside the border. With world-renowned spectacular gardens such as RHS Wisley, Surrey is simply a world-beater.
